Lift Chair
The following criteria must be met in order to qualify for the lift mechanism in our lift chairs:
1. Diagnosis of severe arthritis (hip and/or knee) or diagnosis of severe neuromuscular disease
2. Must be completely incapable of standing from any chair in home
3. Must be able to ambulate or “move about” once standing (cannot be used in conjunction with wheelchair or POV)
4. Physician note in medical record that condition will either improve or help prevent further deterioration with lift chair in place.
Only the lift mechanism qualifies for coverage, not the chair itself. Other special requirements on this item before delivery. Reach out to one of team members for more details.
